New Heights Dance Academy is partnering with Danielle Nicole Photography to offer an exclusive dance picture day at our studio to capture those special dance memories!

Whats included? 

Our picture day event is $85 per session

The investment includes:

  • 10 minute professional photo session in a photo-studio set up (backdrop, lights, etc.)

  • One of our professional teachers assisting in posing students in their best and most appropriate dance pose

  • Dance outfit of your choice

  • Use of our props and accessories (crowns, tutus, wands, etc.). You may also bring your own

  • 2 weeks after your session, photographer will post 25-50 color-edited images to a password protected viewing site where you will be able to select your two favorite images. Thereafter, photographer will fully edit your selections (blemishes, stray hairs, etc.).  

  • 2 full resolution and fully edited images are included in the package and will be delivered via email in a private, password protected download collection

  • Option to purchase additional digital images or prints

About The Photographer

Danielle Nicole is a 9 year portrait and lifestyle photographer in the Tampa, Florida area. Her style is expressive, modern, bright and always creative. Years of studying and hands-on experience in photography have made her extremely knowledgeable and quick on her feet. Her work is centered around lifestyle, wedding and branding photography in addition to having worked with dancers and ballerinas for many years. As a dancer herself since the age of 4, she is able to pose and guide students throughout the session - which is a great perk of having DNP photograph the NHDA students!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Once I confirm my day/time, how do I pay?

    • Once you sign up, the charge will be added to your student portal account. You can login at any time to pay the charge- OR you can do nothing and your credit card on file will automatically be billed on April 9th.

  • What if I need to cancel?

    • Cancellations or rescheduled time slots are permitted until April 12th. After April 12th, no refunds will be issued for canceled appointments, as we will have already secured the photographer's time.​

  • If I have siblings, do I need to schedule multiple time slots?

    • We recommend scheduling one time slot per student to allow enough time to capture the perfect photos. Session time limit of 10 minutes will be adhered to, so scheduling multiple subject options in one time slot may result in a rushed session. Please contact us for the best way to schedule sibling and/or group photo requests.

  • Do I have to wear a dance outfit?

    • As these photos are meant to capture your student's dance memories, we highly recommend coming in dance wear or costumes. Our photographer and teacher(s) will be posing the students in dance poses​.  

  • Are parents allowed to come in to the photo session?

    • Yes, though if your child generally listens better when you're not around, we recommend you wait in our lobby so we can capture the best photos possible! ​

  • What are your Covid precautions?​

    • Anyone coming into the studio must wear a mask and will be temperature checked and have their hands sanitized​

    • Students will be allowed to take their mask off during their photo session

    • Photographer and all support staff will be masked 

    • Touch points will be sanitized between sessions

    • Only one family will be allowed in the studio at a time

  • Will there be a place to finish getting ready at the studio?​

    • Yes! We will have mirrors set up both outside and inside and our dressing room in our side office​

  • When should I arrive?​

    • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session time. This allows for enough time to check in and get prepped to keep us moving on time​
