Why sign your child up for dance class at their preschool?​

FAQ

What will the class be like?

• The class will be 45 minutes once per week at a time that is agreed upon by the preschool and our teachers

• Each class will include beginner ballet technique along with creative movement. Our curriculum is designed to be appropriate for each stage of development and engage the child's brain and body

What is the cost?

• Tuition is $65/month per student 

• All payments will be automatically charged on the 1st of the month with your credit card on file in your student portal​

• There may be additional fees for performances in December and May. Those will be communicated in advance.

 

How long does the class run?

• Classes will be ongoing throughout the year. We will follow all regularly scheduled school closures 

• If you wish to unenroll at any time, you will just need to give us 30 days notice

 

What does my student wear?

• Students will need a light blue leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes for the class. We have a convenient storefront for you to order attire from!  Visit this link and click the "In-Preschool Classes" button on the class page! 

• School teachers as well as our on site teacher will assist students in getting into their ballet uniform prior to class and changing out of it into normal clothes after class

 

Will there be a performance?

• Yes! At the end of the session, we will work with the school to arrange a performance that works for everyone. Additional costume fees may apply.

What do I need to do to sign up?

• Just click the "I'm Ready to Sign-Up" link below

• You will be taken to our Akada Danceworks Studio Portal where you will create an account. You will be the account name and then you will add your child as the student. When you get to the end to select classes, click "In-Preschool Classes" as the Session Name and you'll be able to find your appropriate school class!
