Plie' & Play - 2 -3 years

Plie' & play is an adult assisted class for our littlest aspiring dancers. It is a one hour class that is half creative movement and sing along songs, and half play based activities.  We dance, we color, we have snack breaks. Any caregiver is welcome to accompany the student. Adults will be dancing along with us as well

Combo Classes (Ballet/Tap/Jazz/Acro)

These classes offer an introduction into the specific dance styles paired with some creative movement exercises for our preschool and early elementary age group. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance, all while introducing basic dance technique. They will learn how to follow direction and imitate movement, while developing gross motor skills in a positive and fun environment. The contrasting styles in these classes helps to keep their focus through the entire hour.  See specific dance style descriptions for more detailed information on what those include!

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and will maximize technique and longevity in a career of dance. It provides the grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence. It is strongly recommended that all dancers enroll in a ballet class.

For adult beginner ballet classes, it is recommended that you have some prior ballet experience or have completed our Ballet Basics 6 week course.

Acrobatics

Acrobatics is the performance of extraordinary feats of balance, agility, and motor coordination. In this class, you can expect to learn skills similar to the floor portion of gymnastics - front and back rolls, cartwheels, hand stands, back bends, and as students progress- flips! Your teacher will guide you through  exercises to learn and execute acrobatic skills and build strength and balance.

Jazz

Jazz is a fun, upbeat style of dance that stems from ballet and combines today’s stylish moves with energetic, popular music. Students will learn beginner jazz technique and apply it to choreography- helping to build rhythm, coordination and agility.

For Adult Beginner Jazz, it is recommended that you have some prior dance experience, or have completed our Ballet/Jazz Dance Technique Basics 6 week course.
